Every 90 minutes 5 households are made homeless in Scotland

This Christmas, Scottish football clubs and fans will be swapping their home colours for an away or third kit, raising vital funds and awareness for those with no safe place to call home.

#NoHomeKit is excited to be launching a landmark partnership with the Scottish Professional Football League for 2022, with support from teams across the top four men's leagues and the top two women's leagues.

The housing emergency is affecting more and more families across society. This winter, thousands of families will spend Christmas without a place to call home. They’re trapped in unfit, temporary accommodation like dingy hostels, or sleeping in cars, on sofas or even on the streets.

If you are a club in Scotland at any level and you would like to get involved, you can sign up here.

What is #NoHomeKit?

Nothing is more synonymous with a club than their home shirt. It’s arguably the thing that most gives them their identity. More so than the players, the managers, and even their stadium.

This Christmas, we're making a stand. Clubs and fans up and down the football pyramid are taking part in #NoHomeKit and swapping their home colours for an away or third kit to raise money and show support for those with no safe place to call home.

About us

Shelter Scotland exists to defend the right a safe, secure and affordable home.

We strive every day to give people struggling with bad housing or homelessness the help they need, through our advice, support and legal services.

We campaign relentlessly to achieve our vision of a safe, secure, affordable home for everyone.

With your support we can continue the fight for home. Because home is everything.

How your kit change fights for home

We’re fighting for a future where everyone has the right to a safe home.

Last year we advised nearly 10,000 households through our emergency helpline. But many more people don’t know where to turn for help. People living in unsafe or unfit housing. People with no permanent place to call home.

By joining the campaign you’ll be helping raise awareness of the housing emergency and raising vital funds to help us fight it.
